With emotive vocals and an upbringing rooted in storytelling, Jade Turner has the innate ability to relate to anyone who listens. A proud member of Misipawistik Cree Nation, her exposure to Indigenous artists and country music paved the way to receiving multiple awards and nominations. Her newest single “Deadweight” was written with one of her inspirations, Crystal Shawanda, which won her the MCMA Single and Song of the Year awards in 2023.
